Rules & Regulations

Respect:

• Members: Treat all members with respect and kindness. Avoid personal attacks, harassment or discriminatory language. We value diversity and inclusivity in our club.
• Stay on Topic: Keep discussions related to cars, car maintenance, modifications, events and related interests. Off-topic conversations can be taken to private messages or appropriate channels.
• Share with Care: If sharing links, photos or videos, ensure that the content is safe and relevant. Avoid sharing any pirated or illegal content.
• Privacy Matters: Consider club discussions as “CONFIDENTIAL” this shall not be talked about outside with friends from other Car Clubs unless told to do so. Respect the privacy of fellow members. Do not share personal information without permission.
• The Community: Represent The Syndicate positively in public places and during club events. We want to be seen as a responsible and respectful car club.
• The Law: Always abide by Fiji’s road and traffic laws. Safety is our top priority.

Safety:

• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain your car in safe and roadworthy condition. This is crucial for everyone’s safety on our outings.
• Event Conduct: Drive safely and responsibly during club cruises and events. Reckless driving will not be tolerated.
• Illegal Racing: Ensure to be not part of any illegal street racing as this hinders the reputation of the entire club. There will be “ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY” if a member is found doing so.
• Alcohol and Drugs: Refrain from operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Membership:

• Dues: Pay your annual membership dues on time. This helps the club organize events and maintain resources.
• Communication: Attend club meetings and events whenever possible. Stay informed and connected with the club.
• Participation: We encourage active participation in club activities and discussions. Share your knowledge, ideas, and enthusiasm for cars!

General:

• Property: Respect the property of others, including club resources, event venues, and other members’ cars.
• Constructive Feedback: When offering advice or feedback, do so in a constructive manner. Remember that everyone is at a different skill level.
• Social Media: Promote The Syndicate positively on social media platforms. Avoid posting anything offensive or disrespectful that could reflect poorly on the club.
• Environment: Be mindful of our impact on the environment. Dispose of trash properly during events and leave all venues clean.

Consequences:

• Members who consistently disregard these rules or engage in behaviour that harms the club or its members may face disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.

Review and Updates:

• These rules and regulations may be reviewed and updated periodically by the club’s leadership.

Remember, The Syndicate is a club built on shared passion for cars and camaraderie. By following these guidelines, we can ensure a fun and positive experience for everyone!
